0 Terni in the Winter

26.12.13

From here on out exception of Rotondo and Rome, my family has been staying in a villa in the La Casella Resort in Terni, Italy. The place is a dreamland, it's so quiet and the staff are the super nice!! I love the food that the chef makes. In this picture I am already sleeping, and my mom decided to take a picture. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take pictures of the outside of the villa because we came home at night and left early in the morn'. But the place Terni, in the summer/spring, I would imagine to be much more beautiful in scenery that it is now with its fields grape vines and olive trees.

So you can't see very well my outfits in the picture because I got overwhelming attached to taking a long of pictures of the architecture, and just the natural beauty of the city. We went back out early in the morning to the Piazza San Marco to see it during dusk, and right after headed straight to the Ponte di Rialto Bridge, where we had to go get some little snacks for our trip to Terni for the next day. My family and I were driving around Italy so there is a whole lot to see! Just not in Venice.

This trip to Italy was a trip to celebrate my parents silver anniversary with our family members. So it was quite a joyous trip! Our first stop was Venice, where we took a water taxi, rode a gondola, and walked around the streets of Venice. We visited St. Mark's Basilica, and Piazza San Marco. The store owners were so lovely and explained the stories of Carnivale that I remember from my Italian classes back in the day. But being here was indescribable in many ways. If you do take the chance to go to Venice you definitely, should buy a Carnivale mask, and maybe a little hand-carved Pinnochio.
