0 Last Days of Italy.

28.1.14

The last few days in Italy my family and I headed out to Assisi, Pisa, and Florence. I know this is a month late, but I just came back from a trip to my homeland the Philippines. I still wanted to share the last bit of the days. I love traveling when I can, my family makes it a obligation to travel at least once or twice a year so we can take time to getaway from the city.

Assisi: La Stella (causal dining = really good!), La Moda (local leather designer = nice leather)

After our trip to Rotondo, on our way to Rome. We took a stop at San Lanciano because our chef/host in Casella suggested to us that we have to stop here to eat "peace" (fish) at "L'Angolino da Filippo". It is a restaurant that specializes in fish dishes, the place is really a rustic elegant looking restaurant. I will totally have to recommend this to people who like seafood, their dishes are excellent!! I loved their food and so did the rest of my family members.
After we headed to Rome, now their streets are very hard to get use to for first comers let me say, lots of one ways and rotondo's. We ended up getting to the hotel pretty late, but we couldn't afford to waste time the moment we got our luggages in the hotel we left and went straight to Fontana di Trevi (Trevi Fountain) and the Spanish Steps.

Recommendations: L'Angolino da Flippo = San Lanciano

3.1.14

During Christmas, I wore a dress that I found back in the Philippines, I can't remember the store. But I really liked the contrast of colours and the puffiness of the skirt. Our Christmas tree theme was to remind us of our trip to Venice, and my love and my mom's love for bears. I hope everyone is having a happy new year ^^* By the way, this photo was taken by my brother when we were very tired at 1am in the morning.

0 Rotondo - City of Where St. Pio Rests.

2.1.14

We headed out to Rotondo to see St. Pio church and himself. It is one of our spiritual parts of the trip. Let me tell you, it's a beautiful city!! The pictures above are from the interior of St. Pio's church. The food I took are from the hotel we stayed at called Hotel Colonne, it is super high-tech and love the simple interior inside.
